Peek-A-Jack

With the weather hotter than a two dollar pistol, I've had to get creative playing inside. In between trips to the pool, I've been making due and playing with just about everything that's not locked up in the house. Including furniture, pots, pans, and my toy cylinder thingy. It was a perfect hiding spot to scare my Mommy. Stay cool out there people! I'll catch up with you later. ~jack-jack

Country Roads Part 2

Hi y'all. At lot has changed since the last time I posted about going down to the country. So here's an update. I spent the last weekend down with the family in the country and had an awesome time. My Daddy didn't get to come though - he had to work. Sucks to be him! More beer and food for me! Well, at least for Uncle Anthony and Uncle Russ. But I do wish my Daddy could have gone. I'm sure he does too. Because we went to Hungry Mother State Park and swam in the huge pool they have there. You guys should see me swim. I'm quite the little fish - I can go under and swim (sort-of) all on my own. It makes my parents scared as hell because I'll just jump in without a care in the world. That's just how I am I guess. We then went to the drive in around the corner and saw Wall-e. Some people thought it dished out a little too much political satire for a kids movie, but I enjoyed it. My new Wall-e shirt has since become my new favorite. Anyways, I also got to go exploring in the woods on the quad with Uncle Russ and Jake for a while. That's always a good time. Enjoy the pics...catch ya later! ~jack-jack

Summa' Picnic

Oh man, do I ever love the summertime. Plenty of time to just kick back and relax, hang out with the family, eat some barbeque and drink some sweet tea. Mmm mmm mmm! Summertime also means going to Pop-pop's picnic that his company throws every year at Ft. Hunt Park. OMG, what a show they put on! Lemme tell ya, they know how to do it up. This years party had a Mexican theme, so they had all the works - fajitas, chips n' salsa, aaand, the coup de grĂ¢ce: magaritas. These didn't have tequila though - virgin only. What you say? What strange kind of margarita doesn't have tequila?! Yeah, my Daddy said the same thing, but come on! This was a family event y'all! Besides, it wasn't even 2 pm, by God! Before I got sidetracked, I was about to say that they had a BOUNCE HOUSE! You cannot truly understand the enjoyment a two year old gets from a moon bounce. I had a blast, and it sapped the life from me. I hardly had enough gusto to wrestle with my Pop-pop, but I gave him a good run for his money - or something. As soon as it was all over and we loaded up to go, I fell quickly asleep. I didn't even make it to the GW Parkway. I was exhaaaausted. So, enjoy the pics y'all.

Sing along 'cause it's one we know
It's a smile, it's a kiss
It's a sip of wine, it's summertime
Sweet summertime..."
